My Student Film Production

Hello, my name is Felix. I am a French and Swedish student taking part in the International Programme at Stockholms Filmskola. I am currently preparing for my final exam short film.

This story is about how anyone can make a difference, and spur monumental change, regardless of their background or significance. It is a story about the conflicts of duty and passion, the struggles of hierarchy and oppression.

The opening of the film sees an action sequence unfold as an urban guerrilla group, leading a movement against local leadership, plot to kidnap a low level government worker. It is not until they get back to base that they realise they don't have their original target, but rather the president of a bordering country, who was visiting on business.

Arguments erupt as all the different personalities clash, unable to come to an agreement, let alone a decision, on what the best move is. Killing the president, releasing him, and negotiating a deal all sound like plausible options, yet, the decision is seemingly not up to those who are actually involved; a large disappointment, but will they accept it?.
