My Stolen Tools

Hi everyone, I’m appealing for everyone’s help! hopefully I can return the favour by helping some one else in return if we can achieve our goal.

I am a small business owner at ENERGY MADE GREENER (trade for EMG Home Installtions Ltd) and we have recently Expanded. We have purchased a new van and came down to Coventry for a weeks work, however both my vans were unfortunately broke in to by thieves last night and they have ripped my livelihood away which only took 8 minutes. They have damaged the rear doors to access the locks and have taken expensive tools & equipment. The tools that have taken years to accumulate and cost a small fortune, to have that destroyed in that amount of time is incredibly frustrating and the anger is....well I will leave that there.


My tools are the foundation of my work and now I don’t have them. This is going to be a massive struggle for myself and business.

Sadly the police are not particularly interested that these thieves have destroyed my livelihood and as I only purchased our newest van yesterday and insured it last night the insurance will not cover the lost tools, the other vans insurance will also not cover my tools for what I’ve lost or the damage to the door.


This is where you guys come in. I’m starting a go fund me page to raise money so I can replace my tools. I know there are lots of other more important causes but this is my livelihood my only source of income. I’ve worked extremely hard to build my business and anything you guys can give is 100% appreciated and thanks for yours continued support.


If I reach my target to replace the tools that were stolen, I am going to enter everyone who donated into a competition. I will select a winner at random and install a Veissmann combi boiler with a 10 year warranty (supplied & fitted) as a way of my company gratitude & saying thank you. The winner can either use the prize or give to some who needs this prize more. I will also select a runner up for a free annual service.


I wouldn’t ask for help normally but there’s no way my items will be returned and having bought the new van I will struggle to pay for the repair let alone my tools.
