My Mother is homeless in Kenya

Donation protected
This is the story of Rose. My mother is weak, she suffers from depression, paranoia she has problems with her throat due to having had thyroid cancer removed. She needs life long medication. Rose is 50 she relocated herself back to Kenya with the hope that she would live safely with her own mother. That she would stay on her grandfathers farm in Africa as her own mother promised to help her. She went back there with one suitcase and only enough money for her plane ticket. In realising my mother had nothing and couldn’t offer finances and money her own family have ridiculed her abused her by starving her refusing to give her food. Letting her sleep in awful conditions her family back home are not poor. They refuse to help on the basis of she came from the UK with nothing. I don’t know why a lot of Africans think the UK is full of riches. Poverty exists in the West. She has indefinite leave to remain in the UK her only family is here me and my sisters. We have been helping her survive for sending her money for food and medication. I don’t have enough money myself to help her this time round she is suffering. She has had no medication for over a month she coughs up blood without her medication. She must have some rights to be brought back to the UK. I will not rest till I can help her and look for legal help. I just don’t have the money right now. But she has lost weight she is dying slowly if she does not get help immediately. I have spoke to a family member back home I can confirm she is not safe they chased her out her own grandfathers farm because she has no riches to show for her life in England. How can family be so cruel your own mother promising to help if you leave England but in reality let’s you starve and become homeless. Her life was not full of riches in the UK but she always managed to make sure I had food on my plate. That I got up to go to school that I got up to make it to sixth form. Even saved up the little money she had to give me to take to university. Our relationship was never perfect but I will not sit aside out of the fear of shame and anxiety that I will be the talk of the town because of this. Share my story if you can’t donate. I am trying to raise funds for her to come back to the UK for her passport fees and flights. Please be kind when speaking about my family’s situation as what would you do if this was your mother in this position.
