Help my mom kick cancers ass at 71!

Update: mom got half of her right lung removed and also had a suspect lymph node removed from the left lung. She isn't doing well. She has a double Pneumonia and had partially collapsed lung. The procedure was hard on her. She is intubated the machine is breathing for her and has a tube in each side draining the excess fluid and air from her lungs and chest cavity. She is sedatednand strapped up because she unfortunatley, in a dream state tries to yank her breathing tube out. A 3-5 day stay turned into 4+  weeks potentially or never. I've never been so afraid and my heart is breaking for her. I have been missing a ton of work because I'm constantly in the ICU while she is unaware of anything around her. I want the nurses to know someone cares about this lady and she's not alone. I still have to pay her home utilities and my own and I have a lot of scary decisions and moves I have to make. Unfortunatley I'm already falling behind. It's been so hard trying to juggle being a good mom and daughter with all of this going on. My moms my best friend and I pray she makes it through this and I can hear her voice again  

Hi, my name is Monica. My mom unfortunatley ended up developing lung cancer in her right lung, lower lobe. We believe she may be at stage 2 or 3! She will be getting a lobectomy to remove an entire lobe from her lung in hopes of fully removing the cancer. As of last checked, it is a little bigger than a standard lime. I am her sole provider. I pay all of her utilities and she lives off of very little

with help from SSI. I am also her only care taker. She does not drive, speak or English well and had a multitude of health issues even prior to diagnoses.

With being her only financial provider and care taker, I'm completely overwhelmed. I will be taking as much time off of work as I can to be there with her when our family cannot. I'm not sure how I will be able to continue paying for her utilities and my own in the meantime. She may also be coming home with medical needs we never imagined. I am so grateful for any of you that choose to donate! My mom is my absolute best friend in the world, and if you know my mama, you know how good of a soul she is! I'm not letting the big man take her just yet, we need her here!
