My Family against Tesla’s Substandard Full Reroof

Hello, my name is Tiffany and I am a mother to six beautiful children. In 2018 we hired Tesla Inc dba Tesla Motors to perform a Full Reroof on our home and install a solar system. Tesla in-house crews/employees performed both. A few months after their work we found our roof leaking from end-to-end and the heating exhaust vent disconnected leaving our unit to release carbon dioxide into our attic. So scary! During the last several winter months we keep our house warm from our wood fireplace and space heaters. One of many fire hazards Tesla has created and left us with.
Tesla’s workmanship was substandard. Tesla did not obtain required permit(s). Tesla did not perform work according to State Building Codes & Regulations, Contractors Law, Roofing Institute specifications, Wildland Urban Interface, etc. Tesla made structural alterations without engineering, permits or inspections.
Our roof leaking from end-to-end has created the growth of mold throughout our home. As stated by CSLB “Underlayment is allowing water to leak into our house. Reinstalled tiles are allowing water to leak onto underlayment.”
Mold continues to grow and harm my family. My children have struggled with bird mite infestations, rashes, headaches, eye irritation, vision issues, nasal inflammation, chronic coughs, night terrors and many others. With one child having open heart surgery and another limited vision in one eye. Our beloved dog was found deceased the morning of a Tesla inspection they refused to relocate us for. He died from mycotoxins.
My family has been trying to get Tesla to fix all damages to no avail. Even after Tesla’s written acknowledgment of “knowing” about their poorly performed Full Reroof Tesla chooses to do nothing and fix nothing. Our lives for the past four years have been uprooted. We’ve been left to fight a company, Tesla Inc dba Tesla Motors, that solely created and caused harm by performing a poor quality dangerous Full Reroof and solar installation.
Tesla should correct all of their substandard workmanship and the damages from their substandard workmanship. Instead they’ve chosen to leave my family and young children fighting for our safety every day.
“The Tesla Promise” apparently means nothing to their Consumers. Sadly I’m sure that is the goal of Tesla, cause further injury and harm to the Consumer by placing financial stress hoping they give up.
