My husband, my son and I are all disabled and live on a fixed income. I drive privately to earn more income as expenses increase.

On March 23, 2016 I purchased a Ford Focus. I was not aware at the time of the transmission defect. Now I have a car I can't drive. I can't make the income I need to sustain my family.

I need help before we lose everything. My family lives at an extended stay hotel and has for the last three years.

There is a settlement concerning the transmission but the claims won't begin until October 2017. I don't know how long it will take nor do I know what I will get out of it.

I need a dependable car to provide income for my family so we do not lose everything.
