My brother, Rylee and his family

Hi everyone, my name is Halle Konrad and on behalf of my family we are asking for your help! My brother, Rylee Konrad, 29, was recently diagnosed with cancer. Today he received further updates and the bad news is the cancer has spread to his lung and lymph nodes. The doctors are calling it Stage 3 and have recommended chemotherapy. Rylee was just recovering from a leg operation and a 2 month recover with the birth of their first child, precious Kathleen Lee Konrad when this devastating news unfolded. Rylee and his wife Gayleen live in Didsbury, Alberta. Unfortunately, Rylee can’t receive treatment in their small town and so he will need to travel to Edmonton to receive chemo treatment. This will be very exhausting for the family and will prevent Rylee from being able to work and provide income in the coming months. For everyone who already knows Rylee, you know he is an extremely hard working, caring, kind hearted person. We are shocked and saddened that this is happening to him.

With Rylee’s condition and with Gayleen on maternity leave, they could really use our support in the coming months. We are hoping that with your help we can cover their gas, groceries and other medical bills as Rylee starts his treatment. By taking this financial stress off their plates, Rylee will be able to focus on his healing. We have set up this fundraiser so that the donations will go directly to Rylee and his family.
