My brother Bret has gone to be with God

Hi,

My name is Lucas Burgess. My Brother Bret Hopple has been dealing with health issues for some years and it has, unfortunately, taken a turn for the worst. After suffering a life altering stroke, his health has deteriorated to the point that treatment is not an option and is in hospice. Unless our prayers are answered for a miracle, we are praying for a peaceful passing.

Sadly, up to this point it has been nothing short of a nightmare as the suffering has been unbearable for him and his loved ones. Most of all it has been rough for our mother, Susan Burgess. She has been by his side for well over a week watching him suffer and slowly die. She has not been able to work her job during this time and won't be able to go back anytime soon.

This fundraiser will be directly linked to her account and funds will go to help her through these brutal times. The money will help her make sure she has the resources to make my brother as comfortable as possible through this, help her keep up on bills and survive, help with funeral arrangements when the Sadly inevitable happens. Like I said, we are praying for a miracle. I haven't given up on an intervention from God but according to the diagnosis and his wishes, there is nothing left that western medicine can do to help.

We find peace in the fact that Bret has asked Jesus for forgiveness and accepted him as his savior. Any donations would be very appreciated.
