Friends and Family,
My name is Gary Dezarn and I am a yacht captain and yacht broker with Atlantic Yacht and Ship in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I am also a waterfront real estate agent at the www.TheRealEstateCaptain.com. I have been cruising the Abacos Island for the last 10 years. This chain of islands in the Bahamas are my favorite islands and I have many friends there that I care greatly for. Unfortunately, they were hit hard by Hurricane Dorian and they need our help. These are great people who have loving opened their homes to me during my travels to the Bahamas. I am collecting money and looking for 3 crew members to help the people of the Abacos at various capacity. The money that you donate will help me buy building materials and supplies such as first aid supplies, chain saws, gas cans, plywood, batteries, water, caned food goods, and other life saving resources. I will be taking a 105' yacht on Thursday, September 5th and looking for other yachts, boats, and or barges to help distribute these supplies. My co-broker Chris Caroll also with Atlantic Yacht and Ship is also loading his boat with supplies to take to the Bahamas. This is truly a team effort and we need all of the help that we can get it.
