Musawenkosi Christian Academy Mission Trip
Donation protected
My name is Jackson Federman and I am a sophomore at Clemson University. In January, have another great opportunity to go to South Africa for the 4th time. My previous trips made me fall in love with South Africa's beautiful bitterness and the forbearing lightheartedness of the people who endure it. Since leaving South Africa I have been anxiously awaiting my return to the community that I became a part of in Mpumalanga. This trip is the 4th iteration of Camp Living Water South Africa in partnership with Musawenkosi Christian Academy which is an elementary school in a poor region of Mpumalanga. MCA is designed to provide education to children afflicted with HIV and/or broken homes. Our group of 50 volunteers will travel to Pretoria, South Africa to work with learners ages 6-17. The mission of our camp is to initiate a faith based community, teach the gospel, and provide an escape for many of the students’ harsh living environments. Our camp design will reach the full spectrum of MCA students passions including sports, arts, and spiritual growth. To accomplish our mission, I will need financial and spiritual support. All donations will aid in travel, living expenses, camp supplies, and support for MCA.
Thank you for your generosity and prayers!
