Mum and Son, a Family who live with complex disabilities being Abused!
I am Snetha Badhan, mother to my beautiful son with complex special needs. It breaks my heart to share our horrifying story with you.
In 2009 I became pregnant and I was already a mother to my gorgeous older son, who was 9 years old at that time. I had a high risk pregnancy with mobility issues and complex health concerns.
My baby was not expected to live as he had a kidney condition and brain damage called Microcephaly.
Miraculously, he survived as our miracle baby however, he was diagnosed with further complex needs and is still non-verbal, now aged 10.
Our life has been full of pure heartbreak, but with determination and support from friends and family we have been able to just about cope.
Furthermore, we were subjected to years of Controlling and Cohesive abuse, Forced Marriage, Racism, Immigration Fraud, Stalking, Harassment and Sexual Abuse etc. Overall it is Narcissistic abuse by the perpetrator.
We were poorly supported by the local services who failed us in multiple ways impacting our quality of life. We have experienced mass discrimination and misconduct by them and I have been disempowered to protect my son multiple times in his young life. Completely dismissive of the position we are in , dismissive of the abuse we have endured.
The Authorities instead stripped us from our human rights as we have been victim blamed, silenced, threatened, the truth dismissed even with ample evidence and they have made false allegations against me claiming that I am “Crazy” and “ unable to cater for my sons needs".
They have all destroyed our lives as we live in fear of how they will abuse us next. We are absolutely devastated by what we are subjected to by the very system that was supposed to protect us.
We are desperately seeking funding to overturn this entire situation. We were economically abused and have not been funded to provide the necessary support. We need Legal support in all aspects as well as funds towards our health needs which remain the epicentre of our cause.
During our horrific journey I have connected with many survivor groups in particular Surviving the Narcissist ex partner group whereby I became a Key Note Guest Speaker attending and talking at their conferences alongside renowned leading Worldwide expert specialists.
Furthermore, multiple agencies are trying to support us: 1VAA (One Voice Against Abuse), 28 Day Reset Community, The Forced Marriage Unit and Karma Nirvana.
Sadly, despite their involvement we cannot move forward without high profile legal support.
My heart is broken but my soul still fights for my family, moreover we will not be successful without the funding needed. Please help us.
