MEAT THE VICTIMS BARCELONA #2
Last year, on December 1st 2018, 41 activists took over a caged egg farm in Barcelona. Together they rescued 3 beautiful hens and exposed the truth behind the cruel egg industry. News of the action was broadcast to millions of people on the biggest Catalan TV channel (tv3). Now we are back to raise our voices for the silenced animals who are still suffering, and we need your help!
MTV consists of 2 different parts. First, around 70 activists will occupy a factory farm to meet the victims of the meat industry. We'll sneak into the factory under the cover of darkness, filming the entire process with some members of the media. Once we are inside the farm, we will share livestreams, videos, and photos of the living conditions that these poor animals endure. This footage will be broadcast across social media platforms and sent to the Catalan press. Secondly, when morning comes, we'll use our voices to protest outside the farm with placards and banners.
As you can imagine, these actions are quite costly. So we are asking for help in any way you can: even the smallest donation can make a huge difference!

FOR THE INSIDE TEAM:

- 100 face respiratory masks = 24,60
- Walkie Talkies = 70,00

FOR THE OUTSIDE TEAM:
- Megaphone = 60,00
- 30 A1 Placards = 350,00
- Meat the Victims Banner = 120,00
OTHERS:
- Transportation = 1,000 € / 1,300 € approx
- Vet bills for the rescued animals (re-homing + transportation to the homes) = 300,00 €
