Raising Money for Cancer Research

During my high school career, I have developed a passion for leadership and service within my community. This passion has led me to embark on an exciting opportunity to give back to those in need, and continue to grow as a young woman and future leader in my community. The Leon County Chapter of The Charmettes, Incorporated has chosen me to participate in the 47th Annual Debutante Presentation and Ball on March 31, 2018 along with 18 other special young ladies. The Debutante activities encompass a journey of philanthropic, leadership development and cultural activities for young ladies taking the next step toward finer womanhood. This memorable event also provides scholarship assistance to participants, thanks to the monetary contributions and sponsorships received.

As part of my philanthropic effort, I am raising money in support of the Howard University Cancer Center as part of The Charmettes Incorporated Cancer Initiative, which is the signature program of the organization. The Charmettes, Incorporated, an organization of distinguished women across the country committed to actively working on programs and services that strengthen the community, have contributed over $600,000 to the work of the Center. I hope to help them raise significantly more, and need your help to reach my goal of raising $50,000 towards this important cause. All donations are Tax Deductible and the money will be used exactly as listed.
