Ms. Henriquez has been a dedicated teacher assistant for over 25 years. Throughout these years she has inspired, supported and encouraged many children as well as teachers. She has given so much love without asking anything in return.
On September 25, 2016 she received devastating news; she has a cancerous tumor lodged under her clavicle. Surgery is not an option until they are able to shrink it.
She began receiving chemotherapy but her body was not up to the challenge. She was transported to E.R. with no vital signs. After a week in the hospital, she was released and began a new dose of chemo. Even though the dose is adjusted, it has left her weak and in pain.
Due to this, she has run out of sick days at work and is not receiving any income. Her expenses and medical bills are piling up. Every penny that's donated will go towards her bills.
