Prevention of Young Suicide

Donation protected
Hey All,

I'm raising money for Youth Suicide Prevention - a subject close to my heart. I will be cycling from London to Eastbourne (Beachy head Cliff) on Sunday 9th October and running a poetry night on Thursday 13th to hopefully raise a minimum of £3,000 for Papyrus the chosen charity!

The global pandemic has reminded a lot of people that their ‘someday goals’ have been left unattended and forgotten about.
These goals may include: attempting to hike, paragliding or even skydiving.
It also raised a lot of loneliness in my close friends and me.

I started an adventure club called Underdawg Club with my Friend George as a way to tackle this and through the community work over the last year, I have found so much healing in my conversations around mental health and time in nature.

In 2018 I, unfortunately, lost my cousin Kenny to Suicide; he was a keen adventure and music lover and to commemorate a year of doing Underdawg events and world mental health day, I wanted to do my first ever fundraiser; it made sense to do it for Papyrus the national charity for Prevention of Youth Suicide.

I aim to raise as much as possible in the coming week by cycling from London to Eastbourne (Beachy head Cliff) on Sunday 9th October and hosting a live music and poetry night on Thursday 13th with all proceeds going to Papyrus.

The bike ride from London to Eastbourne (Beachy head Cliff) is 76 miles ( My longest bike ride to date).

For the first £1,500 raised, I will match the donation, and hopefully, we are able to raise more than £3,000 to support the great work Papyrus do.

If you'd like to donate, please do via here or on the night of the event.
