Tom's Legal Fees

Please help me raise funds for my brother’s legal fees.

Tom and Kathy recently retired and were just starting to enjoy this new season of life when everything tragically took a turn.

At the end of February 2022, Tom and Kathy were speaking to two salesmen in their home. When they both began feeling uncomfortable with the information that was being shared, they asked the salesmen to leave. One salesman immediately left the house and the other refused. Tom and Kathy continued to ask the salesman to leave, and the salesman caused a physical altercation with Tom. Out of self-defense Tom pushed the salesman away and subsequently and unfortunately the salesman was injured. Shockingly, two days later Tom was arrested and charged with battery. We later have discovered that the salesman was intoxicated with six different substances in his system, including fentanyl, norketamine and benzos.

Tom and Kathy are on a fixed income and due to the charges against him they are incurring large legal fees by acquiring the best legal defense to represent Tom in court. This is causing a financial hardship.

Would you consider donating to my effort to help Tom and Kathy - to protect their financial future and the ability to carry out their dreams in retirement and to protect Tom’s innocence.

We also ask that you pray! We know that God’s grace is sufficient for all involved. And pray for God’s peace to rule in Tom and Kathy’s heart during these long days of waiting for the outcome.
