Over the summer we were introduced to a young man (15 years old) from another country through an international orphan hosting program. We had no idea that we would fall in love with him and he would fall in love with us too. When he had to leave, our hearts were broken and we made tentative plans to have him come visit again at the holidays. Well, God had other plans and we felt like we were called to move forward on adopting him. We feel like he is a part of our family and we want him to be here with us. He has already had a lifetime of hurt, and we want to show him what family looks like and help him realize that he has a place to call home, where he is loved and accepted unconditionally.
