Donation protected
The Kansas City community, led by the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office and ArtsTech, is raising funds to buy a used van for a mother of eight who was caught in crossfire near 79th and Troost Avenue in Kansas City on Thanksgiving evening. She had nothing to do with this shooting, which killed one. Her van is totaled. She and her family are safe but she has needs a vehicle for a busy family. It's a COVID-19 pandemic and it's also the season for giving. Kansas City can rally for a new van for this struggling family.
