Mother Needs Help After Accident!

On May 5th my friend, Myriam, a single mother with 4 children, was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident. At Greenville Memorial Hospital they determined she had a serious back fracture and three breaks in her sternum. After a week in the heart trauma unit, due to swelling in her heart, she was transferred to the ortho trauma unit. Doctors determined, after repeated imaging tests, her L3 vertebrae was fractured, her spine was misaligned, and bone fragments had lodged near her spinal cord. After much prayer and discussion Myriam and her doctors agreed that, rather than surgery, she would wear a brace for 12 weeks while undergoing physical and occupational therapy and watching for any neurological symptoms caused by the bone fragments.
Myriam is currently at home and in excruciating pain. The brace helps her back but also pushes on her broken sternum. Her oldest two daughters have to put the brace on her any time she needs to change positions or get up - even in the middle of the night. She cannot resume her occupation and has no income and NO INSURANCE.
Myriam's oldest daughter had to quit her job to take care of her mom. Her son is contributing $400 a month to the family from his job and the other children are pitching in by caring for her, making meals, cleaning house, etc.
Myriam conservatively estimated her monthly bills as totaling $2300 + a month. Anything you can contribute would be helpful. Bills include mortgage, utilities, internet - for children's schooling, auto insurance, braces - since oldest daughter can no longer pay for them, credit card, phone, food, medicine, and doctor bills.
The family has a 1 year old Husky named Masha which they need to give away as they can't physically or financially take care of her. Myriam is completely dependent on her daughters and there is no time left, after caring for her, for them to care for Masha. Could you take her?
Note: I just increased the goal. Myriam's doctor says she won't be able to work or function fully for at least 6 months! Plus there's still the chance she may need surgery.
