Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this.


        On may 24th 2018 my Mom and younger sister were murdered in their own home by a family member. They were both loving and caring people with bright futures ahead of them. My mom Deborah was a Desert Storm Veteran and mother of 3. She loved her family very much and would do anything for us. My sister Irisa was 17 years old and had graduated school early, (she was very smart) she was registered to start school for her nursing degree this year. My family did not have life insurance and although Deborah was a veteran the VA will only cover part of her burial expenses.

      I am a stay at home mom of 3 beautiful boys and we are living 900 miles away from NM. i’m the only one left with not many family members who can help. I cannot cover the cost of travel for me and my children as well as burial of my Mother and sister. I am not the type of person to ask for a hand out and have always worked hard for what we have so asking for help is already difficult enough as it is.
