Moss Park Flagpole Eagle Project

Donation protected
My name is Jonathan Robers, a Life Scout from Troop 36 in Orlando. I am looking to lead an ambitious service project to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Recently, Moss Park, (a county park where I grew up that is very close to my heart) has passed rules forbidding visitors and campers from hanging any sort of flags, clotheslines, etc. on trees. This was done in order to help preserve the environmental conditions in the park. There are many ROTC groups and BSA troops that frequently visit and camp at the park.  Therefore, these groups have no way to properly present the American Flag. This $2935.00 project will construct a nautical flagpole in the park's center field for visitors to proudly present and admire our country's flag, as well as their unit and troop flags. The deadline for my Eagle rank is April 11th so I am trying with great effort to execute this project as soon as possible. Any donations to the project will be greatly appreciated by me, Moss Park, and every citizen who is proud to call themselves an American.
