Moroccan Earthquake, help local villages

Dear friends and family,

We come to you today with heavy hearts and a deep wish for support and assist the victims of the devastating earthquake that recently struck the remote villages of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. We believe that together we can make a significant difference in the lives of those who have lost everything.

The earthquake that took place on September 8th, 2023 in the Province of Morocco’s Al Haouz Region has resulted in the need for immediate aid to be provided to mountain villages and local communities. A significant number of villages have been demolished and many roads are blocked by fallen debris.The populous is in urgent need of housing, food, water and medical attention among other necessities.

We (Anabel Serrano and Sadik Ait Mout, a spanish-moroccan couple) are raising funds so that we can provide immediate and long term help and support for the earthquake victims in the remote High Atlas villages who haven't received any help yet due to the challenging terrain and their distance from Marrakech.

Your donations and generosity can make a huge difference to those suffering. Your donations will go directly to the families and victims. We will provide essential support and essential needs as food, mattresses, medication, baby formula milk, diapers and hygiene products.
