Monterey Park Shooting Victim's Family Funds

My name is Julie, and I work at one of the restaurants in the SGV. Recently we had a devastating event happen in one of the cities in SGV, Monterey Park. On what should have been a festive weekend celebrating Lunar New Year, a mass shooting happened claiming the lives of 11 people. One of the victims was my coworker Sally's mom.

Sally joined the team about a year ago, during her high school year. She studies very hard, even when she's on her break time during work, and she is always trying to go the extra mile in whatever she does because she is very hardworking. She has always exceeded in everything she did during the training period, and she became one of the main chefs of the restaurant in no time. She is very kind and is willing to help whenever she can, as she has helped me countless times over the year.

I can't help but think how all of these demonstrate the way she must have been raised by her mom and her dad. And I cannot imagine losing a mom at such a young age in such a tragic event, and how overwhelming it is going to be.

She will be taking some time off from work to plan a funeral with her family. I hope that the funds can support her, her twin sister, her brother, and her dad in some way, whether it is for the funeral, rent, tuition, etc. And I hope that the funds can take some load off her and her family's shoulders during this very overwhelming and difficult time.

This funds will go directly to Sally (Weishan) Liang.
