Hi! My name is Molly Pearson and I am raising funds to compete at the IBTF World Championships 2025.
Last year, I was fortunate enough to be selected to represent Team Englands Majorette team at this years World Majorette Championship competition, which is being held in Turin, Italy in August 2025.
I am so grateful to have been selected for the team and to have this opportunity, however Majorettes/baton twirling is an expensive sport/hobby and is entirely self funded, meaning an international competition such as this, comes with high costs.
As a rough guide, the approximate costs for a dancer to attend this competition is just under £3,000.
This includes:
- travel to and from the event, including flights and transfers
- Main hotel/extra accommodation for either side of the event
- training and travel kits
- the official Team England tracksuit for our Opening and Closing ceremonies
- Competition fees
- Equipment and props
- Costumes, footwear and accessories
- Many other small costs
I am hoping to raise at least half of this, £1,500 towards my fees. I am also looking for an accepting business sponsors, who will have their business name and logo printed on my training and travel kit.
