Modernizing our Legion

Our legion survives on volunteers, from administration to bar staff and cooks, and any money donated to the legion goes directly to the veterans. Something not thought of is that most of the decorations inside the legion are donated when the old veterans pass on. Although it is important to maintain and caretake this dated artwork from long past wars, they do not speak to the new Veterans (Afghanistan, Kosovo and Croatia). The proposal for this gofundme is threefold; 1. to update the art by having Afghanistan artwork and tour pictures framed, order new flags and decorative posters. 2. Some of our vets don't drink liquor so we want to update the coffee service from the very dated current system to a coffee grinder and pour over system. 3. Any left over donations will be used to purchase items from locally owned veteran companies (such as coffee companies, apparel business and even legion memberships) to give away as donations. 100% of this donation will be used for veterans.
