Mobility Scooter upgrade

Hi my name is Bob and I'm trying to raise funds so I can pay to upgrade my wife's mobility scooter.

My wife Mari, has Osteoarthritis in her Fingers, wrists, neck, hip, knees and feet. This has restricted so much of her life now. She used to love facepainting, absolutely loved dancing. Mari is a very independent and strong woman, she would decorate, bake, sew, worked hard, and loves being a Mum and Nana.

She was told 15 years ago, that she was not able to have knee replacements, ( due to other issues) but hopefully that may change., and she needs a hip replacement. She has never let that stop her, but over time she has had to stop a lot of the things she loves. Mari is always there for so many other people. Never puts herself first, she is caring, kind and my best friend. I see every day how much pain she is in, and I wish I could do more. About 3 months ago, after doctors told her she needed to make changes, she had no choice but to buy a mobility scooter.

However, the Scooter she has is not good for her and we need to upgrade it. She is on a waiting list to swap her Scooter with a reconditioned one, but that will be months and months. As she is not top of the list. We can swap and get a brand new better Scooter but it will cost £650 at the minimum. We have already taken out finance for her scooter and cannot afford this.

If you could help me pay the difference to get her a much better, more suitable Scooter, I would be so grateful.
