MO1YOUTHS SUMMER ACTIVITIES SUPPORT

I am fundraising for Mo1 Youths CIO (Charity No. 1200231), an amazing charity doing groundbreaking work with the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in west London. Through Mo1 Youths mentoring and outreach services, young people who lack opportunities and aspirations and at risk of gang crime and academic failure are empowered to improve their education, health, job prospects, and relationships.

Mo1 Youths take the time to build and strengthen ties with hard-to-reach youths that are often marginalised. They are listened to and given a voice and new confidence to reach their full potential. Through mentoring and exposure to positive role models, they make a positive change in their lives and build a better future for themselves.

In 2023, the Charity wants to build on its relationship with local schools, the police, Youth Offending Teams, and youth centres to empower its users to take on leadership roles and support their peers by going into these institutions as role models. Giving young people responsibilities to support others will develop essential life skills and reach more vulnerable youths.

To achieve this goal, Mo1 Youths needs urgent funds to purchase a minibus that will allow over 100 young people each year to access its services, attend educational and fitness activities, and reach more people through outreach services to new neighbourhoods. They also need essential educational and fitness equipment to meet the increasing need of young people heavily impacted by the increased cost of living.
