Please support us in our efforts to raise funds for our cousin who was recently paralyzed from the chest down.
Just over a year ago our cousin Randy went to the emergency room with weakness and neck pain. He was admitted to the hospital where he went into a coma. When he awoke it was determined he was paralyzed from the chest down. Randy spent several months in the hospital and then rehabilitation.
Upon coming home Randy and his family are now faced with the daunting task of adjusting to this new life. Thankfully Randy has the support of his 3 children, his brother, and other family members who are trying assist Randy with day to day living.
Unable to work, Randy now needs constant care and durable medical equipment. Unfortunately Randy does not qualify at this time for Medicare/Medicaid and the cost of any medical staff or equipment falls solely on him and his family.
We are trying to raise money to help meet Randy's needs so he is able to continue living his life in a manner that allows him to be safe and productive. Randy is in need of a mobilized wheelchair, a wheelchair accessible van, and nursing aides.
Randy has a big heart and has always been there for his family, now we want to be there for him when he needs us the most.
