It is with unimaginable sadness that we share the passing of Mitchell Wilson, a bright and kind-hearted 17-year-old whose life ended far too soon.

Mitchell was loved deeply by his family, friends, and community. He had a gentle soul, a great sense of humor, and dreams that were only beginning to take shape. Though he often carried a smile, he struggled silently with the weight of his mental health.

On the 10th of April Mitchell tragically passed away. As we try to come to terms with this loss, we are reminded how crucial it is to talk openly about mental health—especially for our youth. No family should ever have to endure this kind of heartbreak, and no young person should feel they are alone in their pain.

We are creating this fundraiser to help cover the costs of Mitchell’s funeral and memorial service, and to give him the peaceful farewell he deserves. Any funds raised beyond the funeral expenses will be donated to organizations that support youth mental health and suicide prevention—so that Mitchell’s story can help others find hope and healing.
