Misti Carlton-Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend

On behalf of the family it is with a heavy heart that I announce the recent passing of their beloved Mother, Sister, and Grandmother - Misti Ann Woodruff Carlton on Sunday, February 13, 2022. She was born on June 4, 1965 to Terri Lynn Woodruff who went to be with Our Savior on 12/19/1987. She is also preceded in death by her younger brother Clark Veals Jr. aka "Pookie" (3/22/2018) and her brother-in-law Mitchell Williams (08/22/2021).

 

She is survived by her Twin Sister (Denise Williams), her husband (Darryl Carlton Sr.), her Daughter (Natasha Dunbar), her Sons (Darryl Carlton Jr and Terrence Carlton),  her Grandchildren (Nataysha, Isaiah, Damon and Cole), and a slew of Nieces and Nephews.

 

 

 

 

Misti fought a long and hard battle against Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), hypertension and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) for many years. She was so much a part of her families lives that she will be greatly missed although in time we pray that they will be comforted that she can rest easy now and finally be at peace.

 

This is such a difficult time emotionally, mentally and financially for her entire family but more so on her only daughter Natasha. She spent most of her free time caring for her mother, taking her to her doctors appointments, and making sure she was following her health regimen. Along with monetary help, we are asking for continued prayers of strength during this very difficult time. With having to still support her own family, Natasha would like to be able to provide her Mother with a warm and heartfelt Home Going which she deserves.
