A new year finds Biloxi's Fire Museum, in conjunction with the City of Biloxi, heading out to render assistance as a result of torndaoes in Hattiesburg and Petal MS. Previous relief efforts have seen us travel to places as close as North Mississippi and Louisiana and as far as Oklahoma and New York. This trip is almost right out our back door, what greater gift than to be able to lend a helping hand to our next door neighbors!
Our group of volunteers will be heading out on Tuesday, January 31st to assist in recovery efforts to the cities of Petal and Hattiesburg, MS. Due to the geographic proximity, we will be traveling back and forth each day as long as our volunteers hold out. The museum's relief fund will provide the food, travel expense and equipment rental costs associated with this effort and that is where we are asking for your help.
All donations, big or small go a long way in allowing us to continue to help others by responding to these disasters. You, our supporters, are what make it happen.
