Mission Trip to Hope Lives School

I want to share with you a very exciting opportunity that I have this summer. I am hoping to travel to Northern Uganda ( with my Mom and a group of 10- 12 others) to be a part of my first ever mission service trip.  This trip focuses on the Hope Lives school in Lira, Uganda! The school started in 2012 through a partnership with my previous church, Cheyenne Hills, where I used to attend when I lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I have wanted to go to this school and see it since I was a little girl because both of my parents and my older sister have been able to spend time there. I have seen pictures, and I wish to experience it all myself.  This trip provides an opportunity to serve Nothern Uganda and the 450 + children who attend Hope Lives school. I hope to go to Uganda to share the love of Christ by teaching, games,  bible stories, and spending time playing with the students. Participating in this trip I would strengthen my relationship with Jesus, help me learn more about community, service and myself. I am eager to  learn about a new culture and become more aware of the world around me.  The children who attend Hope Lives School are growing and thriving. I would like to participate personally, and see the change, and be the change myself. These funds will help me afford plane tickets, and travel to and from Uganda and in county costs while we are there. The deadline for me to raise these funds is May 1st, 2018.
