Hannah’s Mission Trip to Panama!
Hi! If you're seeing this you must know me to some extent and I'm honored if you've even read this far:) I'd like to ask you for support to get me to Panama. If you're more of a short story kind of person you can just skip to the end and get all the detes there;) Otherwise, here's what I'm up to: For the past four years I have been teaching at RCTC (the Tech college in Rochester, MN) and working in a research lab at Mayo Clinic. Needless to say it's been a full four years! I had been praying about going to school for nursing so I can teach nursing and maybe even do some traveling nursing and finally felt like the time had come to go for it. So, I am currently in Nursing School and still teaching at the college. This spring '21 I heard from the Pineault's, a family that my church supports, that they were in need of help at their base down in Panama and God has given me the summer off and the ability to be able to go! To help you to get to know the Pineault's a little better, here's a bit of their story:
"In May of 2017, we felt God calling us to serve with YWAM in Bocas Del Torro, Panama. We have joined the YWAM ships base, Outpost Panama and are serving as the operating location leader (base leader). We are reaching out to the Ngöbe Indians that live on isolated islands in this region of Panama as well as local Panamanians and Ex-Patriots from all over the world who live here."
The Pineault's work to build wells, give medical care, educate in sexual health, provide leadership retreats and more. Most importantly they are there by God's grace to meet the spiritual needs of the locals, sharing with them a source of healing, forgiveness, love, and true freedom which can only be found in Jesus!
I have been interested in using what medical education I have to help people abroad but have also been learning about and desiring to helping people in a sustainable way ("Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. TEACH a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime!"). I met the Pineault family when they were back in MN for a time and loved their family. They live in Bocas Del Torro and have a sustained organization down there. So when I heard that they needed help and I had the summer off (for the first time in forever!), it seemed like a God given opportunity! I am beyond exciting to go and support the Pineault's in whatever way they need around the base (lawn care, hosting students, and maybe getting to help in a medical capacity or in building wells!) and by proxy support the locals of Bocas Del Torro.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and in advance for your prayer and support. Even if you're not in a position to support me financially right now, I'm just excited to share this opportunity with you! And if you have any questions at all (or just want to catch up!) you can reach me via FB messenger or through the contact button on this page.
In Christ,
