Mission for Melanie Floyd

Melanie Floyd, a Whistlerite since 1988 has worked and played hard all her life. You may have had your butt kicked by Melanie on the golf course or you’ve been on the receiving end of her lovely hospitality at the Fairmont Whistler where she has worked these last 20 some odd years.

Unfortunately, Melanie’s butt has been kicked by a recent stage 4 Ovarian cancer diagnosis.

Melanie is going to fight this battle and has already had her first round of chemo.

As expected, Melanie will not be able to work during this reprieve and expenses are already adding up.

As I write this Go Fund Me on behalf of Melanie’s besties, we are going to spread the word and are counting on the generosity of the Sea to Sky corridor and anyone that wants to see Melanie and her dog River back on the valley trail and on the links putting up a birdie.
