Miss Fraser USA-Journey to Miss Michigan USA

Hello, my name is Sierra Paris, and I am your Miss Fraser USA 2023. To share a little about myself, I grew up in Highland Park, MI., graduated high school from Detroit Edison and later graduated from Paul Quinn College in Dallas, TX. with my bachelor's in Business Administration Management. I started my pageant journey as Miss Paul Quinn 2018 title at my HBCU. This also happens to be where I started my art journey, creating the first art organization "Artist In Motion" on our campus.

Those accomplishments were monumental in my life. They afforded me the chance to do what I enjoy which was helping and serving others. I wanted to continue those efforts, but this year I decided to challenge myself by competing in the Miss Michigan USA 2023 pageant competition. My passion for giving back and helping others has continued to increase over the years. It heightened in college where my goal in life became to leave places better than I found them. With that being said, my platform as Miss Fraser USA 2023 is to bring awareness to mental health through the arts.

Through my own mental health journey, I was able to use art as a way to heal. I intend to help others to use their artistic creativity and gifts in order to create an outlet for themselves and to help them overcome whatever they are struggling with. I am grateful to be able to use my gifts to inspire, pour into others, and I plan to utilize this title to continue to help to be a change in our community, provide resources for those struggling with their mental health, and let people know that someone still cares. It’s a blessing to be a blessing and I plan to continue to do so through helping and giving back.

I'm seeking businesses and individuals in my community interested in sponsoring "My Journey to the Crown". While very worthwhile, pageantry is also relatively expensive, and every dollar matters. I am seeking to raise $4,600 in order to pay for pageant essentials, such as registration fees, travel accommodations, Miss USA necessities for this pageant such as wardrobe, hair and makeup

needs, photo shoots, banners, USA crowns, and advertisements.
