Minky's surgery costs

Minky is a rescue treasure from Cats Protection, the most affectionate, adventurous and inquisitive little thing. She's a crazy loon and makes me laugh with antics like running flip turns against the glass doors. She's always up for a purry nuzzle and cuddle. I love her to bits.

She came home a few days ago with a hind leg out of action. X-rays showed she has a complex fracture of her femur. She has had surgery today and I can't wait to bring her home tomorrow. Her ginger brother is missing her too.

I pay monthly into a savings account for her but she is uninsured. I didn't anticipate the unbelievable cost of surgery, initially £3500, with unknown additional followup care costs.

I was made redundant at the end of 2019, just before covid, and was ineligible for any benefits or furlough, so have been living very frugally since then. I am now self employed but business is still in the early stages and not yet paying me a living wage.

If anyone feels it in their heart to donate towards Minky's surgery costs I will be extremely grateful!

She's only two years old so I hope she'll make a full recovery - though those flip turns might have to stop.
