Mimi's Special Needs Bike

As of March 2nd, it has now been three months since Mimi’s life-threatening accident at the community center, and she is now officially ALL BETTER! Mimi had a very difficult first six weeks after her accident, even including a second trip to the emergency room when her back froze up and she couldn’t bend. Lots of support from friends (plus a surprise visit from Santa himself!) helped Mimi get through this tough time. To celebrate her incredibly lucky recovery, we are trying to get Mimi a special needs bike so she can cruise around the neighborhood in style. Of course, anything designed for people with special needs costs about fifty times as much as the regular version! We snagged Matt’s new bike for about $30 with a Black Friday deal, but unfortunately, Mimi’s special bike will be about $1,500. To help Mimi reach her goal of being able to ride a bike with the rest of the kids in the neighborhood, we just started a GoFundMe campaign. If anybody is interested in contributing to Mimi’s cause, she would certainly appreciate it!
