MiMa's Croatian Earthquakes relief

Donation protected

On December 29th, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck central Croatia.  In Petrinja, the town closest to the epicenter, almost all houses were damaged. Other nearby cities and villages throughout the Sisak-Moslavina county have suffered heavy damages. The earthquakes have been reoccurring over the past days at magnitudes ranging between 5.0 and 2.5

Tonnes of food and water have been donated by charitable souls around the country and beyond. As well as millions of Croatian Kunas in donations.
But more help is still needed as thousands remain without a roof over their head and without any personal belongings...

MiMa wants to make donations go beyond usual means of charity - through each donation we will be purchasing hygienic products such as soaps and sanitisers  from a small local producer which we will distribute to the victims of the disaster, frontline workers as well as hospitals and temporary housing establishments.
We have decided to cooperate with this local producers as in times of pandemic, we believe it is crucial that those affected can remain as protected from contamination and viruses as possible as hospitals have been destroyed and Covid cases are still growing in Croatia.

Any little helps, no matter how small a donation can make a big difference. As transparency is one of our key values, once we collect a certain amount we will be posting stories on our account of how and where the products will be distributed.  You can find us at: @mima.ngo

Thank you in advance.

Love and light,

MiMa
