Mike and Sue Whalen House Fire

Donation protected
On July 12th, Mike and Sue Whalen lost their home and all of their belongings in a tragic house fire. They also faced the devastating loss of their two beloved dogs, Case and Snickers.

Long-term residents of Bradenton, FL, the Whalen's celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary this month.  Together, they are the proud and loving parents of three sons, Chad, Matt and Kyle, and two grandchildren.

They have worked in Bradenton for 30+ years – Mike at Tropicana, Inc., and Sue at the law firm of Legler, Flynn, Murphy, and Battaglia. They are members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bradenton and are loved and respected throughout their community.

Mike and Sue are fortunate enough to have the immediate support of friends and family who are providing basic essentials and a place to stay.  But this tragic event will impact the Whalen’s and their family for the foreseeable future and we would like to offer continued support.

We know that there are items they will never be able to replace, but our friends face the long-term challenge not just of rebuilding the structure of their home, but of replenishing those items that fill their pantry, wardrobe, closets and living spaces. Donations made to this campaign will be given to the Whalen’s to ease this burden.
