Mike and Dee Hurricane Relief Fund

Many people have been affected by Hurricane Harvey either through personal impact, a friend, a relative or someone we know indirectly or those we don’t.
My brother Mike Latiolais and his wife Dee of Friendswood, Texas were impacted as well. While Dee was taking care of her residents at Colonial Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care in Pearland, Mike and their dog Bella were being rescued by the Coast Guard in a boat from their home that had flooded to over 4 feet of water. They live in Friendswood which was one of the hardest hit communities in the Houston area. They lost vehicles on top of the majority of everything they owned. Many of you also know that Mike was laid off from his job at MD Anderson back in January. This has been an extremely trying time for them. They are very appreciative for all of the volunteers and everyone that have helped so far.
Many are asking what more can WE do to help? I have set up a GoFundMe account to help Mike, Dee and Bella get back on their feet. If you would like to contribute, your help would be greatly appreciated. These funds will be spent to replace the vehicles loss and bridge the financial gap in restoring their home and furnishings.
