Mike and Caroline are Adopting !!!
Donation protected
After years of battling infertility, Mike and Caroline decided to grow their family through adoption. Waiting is so hard, dealing with the unknown and questioning your every decision.... After a year of waiting, they were matched with a birth mom from out of state.
From the words of Mike and Caroline...
"We have some pretty spectacular news - we've been matched! Baby is due in November & we are thrilled. Prayers for us & this sweet mama and her family! Thank you all for the support & love!!"
As you can imagine, Caroline and Mike are ecstatic and a bit nervous too... so much to do before he or she arrives! Aside from the large cost of the adoption, both Mike and Caroline's employers do not offer paid leave for adoptive parents, only for birth parents. Because the adoption is crossing state lines, they may not be allowed to return home to Virginia for up to 30 days. These funds will be used for the adoption itself and living expenses during their first moments as a family of three.
I know both Mike and Caroline will be forever grateful and are so thankful for such support from all those around them physically, emotionally, and even virtually!!
