Miguel Angel Martinez - sentenced to death at 17

Donation protected
Miguel Angel Martinez was sentenced to death at 17 & has been in prison since, now with a life sentence, for a crime he was convicted of through the Law Of Parties - meaning he didn’t commit the crime but was there when it happened and in Texas you are considered responsible for other people’s actions.
Miguel has came up for parole every 3 years since 2006, with a denial every time.
28 years later, at 45, Miguel has taken every program available to him, college degrees, and has stayed out of trouble.
He was featured on a few documentaries - Laredo and the Law, Not Too Young To Die, and the most recent Netflix original called I Am A Killer.
Not only does he have the support of his family, but many people have sympathized with Miguel after reviewing his case and have offered support from different states and countries.
Still, with all of this support, his reputation speaking for him in the criminal justice system, and his little involvement in the actual crime, Miguel is denied parole every time for the ‘nature of the crime’.
With Miguel’s recent parole denial and 3 year set off, we are exploring all options available to help Miguel be released from prison. It’s going to take an attorney to make the presentation to the parole board or take Miguel back to court to have his case reviewed. Since those are our last options, besides waiting until December 2021 for Miguel to come back up for parole, we are asking if anyone can help and everything is appreciated.
