Mighty Mouse's MRI & Surgical Care
Spende geschützt
We have appreciated everyone's support since Mouse's birth. Through prayers and an outpouring of love, Mouse has thrived as best as possible given her physical disabilities. Now it's time to get her the medical help she needs to live her best life. We've always told Mouse we'd fight for her as long as her heart was in it, and she has been 100% all in since Day 1.
Born at 7oz in a very difficult birth where most of her siblings were lost, Mouse came into the world small but Mighty. Through constant around the clock care, she grew (slowly but surely!) and showed us that she was supposed to be here. As her brothers left for new families, Mouse was still just learning to walk and how to get up when she fell. She fought hard for every victory...that's Mouse all the way! Her journey has come so far in the 4 short months of her life. She can now walk, run, retrieve a ball, and get herself up. She has a personality larger than that of any dog 4x her size. She LOVES to eat and snuggle and play like any other puppy.
She does, however, have disabilities. Mouse has a head tilt and walks in circles a lot. This is beginning to cause her legs to bow from constantly walking toward the right. Her neurologist and radiology teams believe Mouse has an atlantoaxial subluxation - a deformity in her first two vertebrae that is causing her neurological and physical issues. It can be fixed with surgery and requires an MRI beforehand to get a full look at the specific problem before heading into the OR. Mouse's quote is upwards of $12,000 for this lifechanging care. We are putting in every cent we can to help her, and appreciate anything her followers wish to donate.
We've shared her journey from the start and want to thank everyone for giving so much love to this Mighty little Mouse these past few months! It's truly helped us continue on the hard days. We cannot wait to see where this little fighter goes in life. Mouse has certainly been an inspiration in perseverance and overcoming life's challenges to so many. She is a true gift and we thank you all for your support of her. Team Mighty Mouse!
