Micropreemies Gloria and Maya

On December 15th, 2019 our lives changed forever. We welcomed two very tiny beautiful girls into this world. It was the scariest night of our lives but God only gives you what he knows you can handle... Having to go through an emergency csection only 10 minutes after you’ve been admitted to having 20 people in the operating room with you handling your just bigger than 1lb babies is terrifying. I think my girls are stronger than me. They are literally the tiniest fighters I know and it’s an honor to be their mom. . Gloria Viviana & Maya Isabella were born at 25 weeks and 2 days. My husband and I were not ready for them to come so soon... we didn’t have anything ready.. no car seats, cribs, diapers, clothes we didn’t even have names as we didn’t expect them to come til March 2020. We didn’t get to experience a lot of things as first time parents... our babies were whisked away to the NICU, we didn’t get to hold our babies after birth and marvel at what we had created. Instead my husband was allowed to hold their tiny hands through their isolettes as I recovered.. and even then I wasn’t allowed to see my babies for a few days after birth. Our girls will be in the NICU for an estimated 3 months. They are currently stable but their little lungs need a lot of growing to do, we are hopeful that they will come home sooner but worried for the bills that come with their amazing care. We ask that you donate what you can and keep us in your thoughts and prayers ❤️.
