Nuestros nombres son Claudia y Jorge Rivera. Estamos creando esta página de Go Fund Me para nuestra hija, Michelle Rivera García, para recaudar fondos para solventar gastos para su trasplante de hígado.
Michelle tiene una condición llamada Enfermedad por Almacenamiento de Glucógeno Tipo 1A, esta es una condición rara que cambia la forma en que el cuerpo usa y almacena glucógeno, una forma de azúcar o glucosa. Debido a esta condición, su hígado a sido afectado y no está funcionando como un hígado normal y saludable. Esta condición le ha causado tumores en el hígado y sus doctores están extremadamente preocupados y quieren evitar que estos tumores se conviertan en cancer. Es la razón por la cual Michelle tendrá un trasplante de hígado para prevenir todo esto.

Our names are Claudia and Jorge Rivera. We are creating this Go Fund Me page for our daughter, Michelle Rivera Garcia to help cover the costs for her upcoming liver transplant.
Michelle has a condition called Glycogen Storage Disease Type 1A, this is a rare condition that changes the way the body uses and stores glycogen, a form of sugar or glucose. Because of this condition, her liver has been extremely affected and isn’t functioning the way a healthy liver should. This condition has caused tumors to grow in her liver and her doctors are extremely concerned and want to prevent these tumors from turning into cancer. So she will be having a liver transplant to prevent all of this.
As a family, we are extremely thankful for anyone who can donate! Any little bit helps, and every penny is deeply appreciated.
