Michelle's Bilateral Breast Cancer Diagnosis
Beschermde donatie
UPDATE 7/2/25: TWO WEEKS OUT FROM PARTIAL BILATERAL MASTECTOMY (reduction) I received the results of my pathology finally. RIGHT BREAST: the original tumor was removed, the pathology also showed another larger tumor which was also removed. LEFT BREAST: The original tumor was removed. The pathology showed several tiny tumors and abnormal cells. So will need to be watched very closely for the cancer to return since it is looking like I’m high risk for occurrence.
LYMPH NODES: Both Sentinel Lymph Nodes and all other lymph nodes in that area were negative for cancer. There was a certain amount of tissue that was taken out for the partial bilateral mastectomy where they found the above items so radiation is a DEFINITE MUST for me in case there are other small tumors. I have a feeling my length of radiation will be longer than the 28 days originally planned. I have an appointment on July 9th will the Radiologist Oncologist so I will be keeping you all posted. I am off work until approximately July 28th and am not allowed to do a whole lot. I am still dealing with pain, bleeding, nausea, etc.
Again, THANK YOU so much for your support whether it’s been monetary, meals, helping around the house, thoughts and prayers or taking me to appointments. I appreciate you all so much. I will keep updating as new information comes to light. Again donations for medical bills are accepted from this Go Fund Me,

UPDATE 2025: Post op day 4. Well, I have been sleeping a lot. I’ve been trying to get my moving around done in the morning, then sleep off and on the rest of the day. Still in an extreme amount of pain, but that’s to be expected. I have two drains in, which are painful as well. I’m hoping they will come out next Friday during my post op appt. I should know the results of my pathology within the week. So, I will heal for a few weeks then I start radiation. We don’t know about chemo yet until the pathology comes back but my surgeon is optimistic that I won’t need it, just radiation for a month. So we shall see. I will keep y’all updated. I can send my mailing address if you would like to help out but dont do apps.

Hi all :) My name is Tiffany and I am a long-time high school friend of Michelle. We grew up together in MT and have kept in close contact, with the invention of FB, that is, over the years lol. She's been diagnosed with Breast Cancer (stage 2, grade 2- not good) and discovered, in an MRI that she insisted on having, in both breasts. This is not her first encounter with cancer. In her early 20's she fought uterine cancer, and was told at that time, that she was going to be at risk for breast and/or ovarian cancer in her menopausal age... and here she is :(
She has been accepted into a Mayo Clinic program after a series of doctors were not as "compassionate" as they could have been. Her team of physicians wants to, preferably, do either a lumpectomy or a double mastectomy. Both would put her out of work for roughly 3 months. Right now she has surgery scheduled for 3/31, followed by possible daily radiation or chemotherapy, for 4 weeks. Not to mention the numerous amounts of doctor's appointments, before and after surgery, including pathology results, that may or may not change the whole treatment plan.
Now, the kicker... Michelle has no health insurance. Due to a recent change in employment, and her new diagnosis, a full-time position fell through. She is currently paying a COBRA premium, which is ridiculously expensive and has no added benefit from short-term disability or FMLA.
Michelle has always been, and will most likely, always be there for anyone in need. She now needs our help. If you'd be so kind as to donate to help with the overwhelming expenses that she's about to incur. Some options are to donate to this Go Fund Me, Venmo: @Michelle-Stollsteimer, or Zelle: Michelle Stollsteimer 0173. If you are unable to assist with donations, please add her to your prayers.
Thank you!
Tiffany
