Michelle (Chelle) has been the brightest light in my life, but she’s also a bright light in so many other people's lives and spaces she’s in. For the last few months, she has faced some tough and startling diagnoses that would dampen anyone’s light; however Chelle Is strong, she is fighting hard and I am determined to not see that light flicker.

She could use all of our help though, after being diagnosed with two separate cancers, it’s looking inevitable that she’ll need to receive some chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is not a desired treatment plan, and there is a test that could lend insight into the characteristics of her cancer that could drastically minimize the amount of treatment she might need. Currently her insurance has denied coverage of the Oncotype DX Testing, while her team of doctors is working with Insurance to appeal the denied claim, it is postponing her path towards further treatment. The test is approximately $5,000. We would love to raise these funds to allow Chelle to move forward with treatment faster and get her on the road to recovery as soon as possible.

If insurance ends up covering the cost of the test, Chelle has already and will continue to have more medical costs for additional treatment and testing and any funds raised will go directly to treatment and associated expenses.
