I NEED YOUR HELP!
I have been accepted to go do a medical volunteer trip to Haiti in November 2019! I just got my vacation time approved so NOW begins the next step... which is fundraising.
I am going to give medical care in PORT AU PRINCE AND PORT SALUT REGIONS in Haiti. I am humbly asking for help with half of the cost of this trip.
I will be going on the last trip ever for the amazing non-profit organization called Project Helping Hands which is dissolving as an organization at the end of this year. "In the past 25 years PHH has sent over 100 teams to over a dozen different locations in 11 countries and over 200,000 people have directly benefited by receiving care and education" per PHH and is a non-profit close to my heart that I have had the honor of going on three other medical volunteer trips, one of which I led to the high Andes in Peru Sacred Valley in 2016.
Any donations are welcome!
Below Is the picture of one of my life highlights, Peru 2016. This young man suffers from PTSD and has not spoken in years. When I met him he wouldn't even look at me. We sat down, I did a health assessment on him and then I offered him a gift of this soccer ball. He tried to give it selflessly to his brother and then I held his gaze and finally convinced him the soccer ball is HIS. This picture was his first smile in over 5 year according to his mother
