Michael Higgins

To all who know our family, you know we have an Uncle Mike. He’s a person who would give you the shirt off of his back and has a sense of humor like no other.  He's a self-taught piano player, a singer with the most beautiful voice, and the best hairdresser I've ever known. About 9 years ago, he was having problems with his voice coming in and out. Vanderbilt Voice Center found a growth on his vocal chords that has developed into cancer. Fast-forward a few years after many surgeries and treatments, he has now succumbed to having radiation treatments. He has to have these painful treatments Monday-Friday; consequently, they have caused him to lose his voice completely, and he can barely swallow.  He is now halfway through his treatments, but there is still a long, hard road ahead. 


With all of this, his insurance premiums have skyrocketed to be much more than his house payment. He’s wanting his hair business to continue, so please, if you’re his client book an appointment! He needs your prayers, to keep busy, AND financial support.

Our hearts are breaking for him, and this was the least we could do to help him and let him know how many people care and want to assist!  Please consider donating, every bit can help!
