In memory of Michael Gardner—beloved brother, son, uncle, and friend - we come together to support his family in the wake of his tragic loss. Mike passed away climbing Jannu East in the mountains of Nepal on October 7th.

Mike was a radiant soul, gracing everyone he met with his charm and zest for life. To know Mike was to experience his love, and to be enamored by his grace and exuberance. In his 32 years, he achieved a prolific list of feats in the mountains - first ascents and descents, link-ups, and speed records - but it was the deep connection he forged with friends, family, and acquaintances along his journeys that brought him the greatest pride.

While his absence leaves a deep void in our community, his spirit and legacy will endure in our hearts.
